The headstock unit of the EMAG machines of the VLC series is characterised by short strokes, high rapid traverse rates, extreme rigidity and an integrated cooling system.
Maintenance-free, frequency-controlled three-phase motors serve as feed drives for the X and Z axes.
Max. chuck speed = 800 rpm.
