Additional description

This UPS system is ideal for fault-free operation under the demanding environmental conditions that can occur in industrial applications.

Suitable for stabilizing mains systems, for example.

The UPS system consists of the Powerbridge (a flywheel mass with attached generator) and a Uniblock (electric motor/generator block).

The Uniblock supplies the power for the customer modules without grid faults.

The Powerbridge serves as energy storage.

In the event of a mains failure, the Powerbridge briefly takes over the power supply (at full load, the power supply is maintained for 39 seconds).

Energy storage unit type PB60+ with bridging time 39sec.

A diesel engine is connected via an overrunning clutch. This means that as soon as the engine has reached the speed of the Unibklock, it pulls the generator up to the synchronous speed and thus takes over the power supply.

At the same time, the Powerbridge is supplied with energy again.
